Time for Some "Thrilling Heroics"

Third in QMx's hit series of Serenity Little Damn Heroes limited-edition animated maquettes, "Thrilling Heroics" stars none other than the man they call Jayne (Cobb) himself. Standing 4.5 inches tall, the Jayne maquette is cast in resin, hand-painted and comes holding Jayne's very favorite gun, Vera. He's sculpted wearing the cunning hat knit by his ma and wearing his Blue Sun t-shirt. The one what got River so riled.

Offered in an edition of just 1,000 individually-numbered statues and priced at $49.95 each, you best get Jayne before he's gone. We hear he's got a crappy town named after him and that he's skilled at the public relations. Sounds like it's good to have Jayne on your side. Just remember: The living legend needs eggs!

Thanks for the warning Nathan. Sorry to hear your broke. This is a great little collectable to stand next to Kaylee (still trying to track down Mal here in the UK) Would love to see Inara next. Great work QMX, but should included an assembly note for future pieces

I would add to the above that those of you who live where you maquette will arrive very cold should allow it to warm to room temp before attempting assembly. Mine is unbroken but maybe this will help someone out too, resin becomes brittle when it is cold. I wish I could post the picture I sent in of all my little guys on my shelf of Serenity. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE. I only wish I could afford the ship... B^(
Needs to come with instructions 9/30/2009

The cigar and gun are separate pieces and it is not readily apparent that you must REMOVE the maquette's arm in order to install the gun. Before I figured this out, I was very gently trying to push the gun into place and the end snapped right off. This is not what you really want to have happen to a $50 collectible the day you receive it, and could have been totally avoided by simply providing some instructions. I hope this saves some of you from broken guns and immense frustration.
